However, the site was designed to make money from affiliate commissions on new credit card accounts, which pay $20-80 or so per sign-up. It didn't convert anyone though.

Monthly page views: There were over 4000 views in November, but then 500 in January. Lately traffic has been pretty low, and variable.

Traffic details: Most is from direct address or bookmarks. I don't remember doing much promotion. Although a few referrals are from ezinearticles.com so maybe I submitted an article there.

Description: This is a fairly small content site about credit, with some content about credit cards and a bit about credit reporting and scores. I wrote all the content myself.

All the credit card offers are through SunSpotWeb.com. It seems as though all the company info is editable in the control panel, so I can transfer the current account to the new owner.

Note: Credit card companies are very particular about displaying their offers. Every so often SunSpot sends out emails letting you know when any offers are updated... then you must make any necessary changes. Full terms and stuff are on sunspot's site.

Why am I selling? I've been selling off some of my sites lately so that I can concentrate on other projects. I started this site because I was excited about getting huge commissions, then realized that because of the huge commissions, there's some competition out there... so I don't feel like putting the effort into a financial type site.

Another note about the ezine: No ezine or autorepsonder content is included in this sale. I may use that for something else someday.

Like I said, credit card applications will get you $20-$80 each.

So there's definitely potential. But of course that requires people visiting the site, which will require some form of marketing.
