I have recently opened my account with new zealand paypal and I received $1000 in it , but when I tried to transfer that $1000 to other paypal account then I received this message " please add funds to your account for making the payment"

I want to know that whether I can use paypal balance or not to make the payment? or in New zealand also we need credit card to make the payment?

Looking forward to your response friends.

    Thanks

Sounds to me like your account does not have the amount of money in it that you are trying to send.
Or perhaps your payment options are set to use credit card or some other option instead of using your paypal balance.
Or third option is you need to add a credit card and/or bank account in order to lift sending and receiving limits in paypal.

Are you sure you have a $1000 balance in paypal? It is possible depending on how they paid you that you need to wait (if echeck or similar) or that you need to claim the payment due to them paying with a c/c and you not having a premier or business account.

Check all this and then maybe try contacting paypal. Paypal may have even placed a hold on your account for receiving a sum like that if it is a brand new account.

I think you need to withdraw the fund and transfer it to your bank A/c and then send, It'll surely work.
