New YPN site - no ads displaying

I just added YPN in rotation on pages of a site I own and have had zero ads displayed all day. How long does it take Yahoo (typically) to begin displaying ads? The site is finance related so I assume they MUST have some matches - running AdSense vs. YPN on this site for a few months to see which turns out to be a better bet for this niche.

ads should display immediately...however, if there are none in your niche, then you should get just random ones...I would check and make sure your code was copied right...

I have sites doing the same thing.

I've noticed if you leave off the www. they seem to show up, dunno why, but that's what seems to be happening on my sites at least.

Lots of ads are not displaying across a whole lot of niches right now. Anything that is an important revenu generator I have switched back to Adsense. Let them figure it out at their own expense. I keep just enough up to keep the wheels turning.

I hope they will fix things for the better. There is a good amount of revenu to be made if they do. I had some excellent results in some niches before mid Feb.

Why is it so hard for them to figure out why their ads are not showing on many pages?

It is not like they don't have millions of dollars budget to work with???

Could it be that Yahoo can not identify the content of your site or does not have ads to display?

    Hey there,

I wanted to jump in here in hopes of clearing up some of the issues.

There could be several reasons why ads may not be displaying on some or all of your content pages, but based on some of the notes in this thread it seems related to a particular issue that we are currently experiencing. As you probably know, we display "run-of-network" (RON) ads if your website contains text that may be sensitive in nature and triggers a sensitivity filter. We recently experienced some fluctuations with our sensitivity filters, which caused some publisher pages to not display these ads. This is a known issue, and we are taking steps to correct our sensitivity filters and enable publishers to display ads throughout each day. Our goal is to have this issue resolved very soon (I'll be sure to follow up when it has been resolved).

For more some additional information on reasons why ads may not be displayed on your site, please visit: https://publisher.yahoo.com/help/FAQTroubleshooting.php.
