New Youtube Channel: From 0 to 1000 Subscribers

I've been reading many threads about growing an email list, a blog or a chat community, and usually, these discussions turned off after a while.
I think anyway it's good to keep yourself accountable, putting your project in front of a big audience, and I have all the best intentions to keep going with it!

I'm a digital marketer, I help my clients with their marketing strategy and I have experience with email lists and podcast. What I've never worked with is YouTube.

That's why I decided to start a new discussion that will follow my journey with Youtube.

I've just created my new YouTube channel, and at this point, I have just 4 videos on it. Here the newest I posted.

Since I started with 0 videos and 0 subscribers, I think it's gonna be useful for both me you to follow the entire path.

A few fundamental points:

1. I won't use any scammy technique like commenting "SUB for SUB" on other popular videos or buying followers. I want my subscribers to follow me cause they're genuinely interested in my videos
2. I won't use any promotion. My aim is to grow my channel organically even if it will take more time and effort
3. I'll follow a schedule of filming and uploading a video each other week. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do more than this for the moment.

TARGETS

• Grow views and subscribers without using ads or scammy techniques
• Grow an email list through my videos
• Post 1 video each other week
• Reach 1000 subscribers on YouTube

TIME FRAME
I guess I'm too optimistic, but I'd like to reach 1000 followers on YouTube by September 2019.
This means getting around 80 subscribers per month, and I'm well aware you need to have viral videos to do that.

Anyway, I keep reading that the more videos you have, the easier is to grow subscribers. Mine is a hope that it will get easier through the time.

YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS PLAN
The YouTube channel is brand new. I won't tell any friend or family about my channel. I want my subscribers to be authentic people who want to watch my videos and listen to what I have to say.

On each video, I'll suggest my viewers to subscribe if they like my stuff.
Plus I have a list of Facebook groups where I'm an active user, that I can use to give more exposure to my channel.

EMAIL LIST PLAN
Almost every video I upload has a content upgrade that can be download if the viewer wants to get deeper into the topic. I'm not sure if this technique is a good one for YouTube (since a video gets less promotion by the platform if it makes viewers leave the website), but I'm sure just a little part of my viewers will take action.

Since I'm taking my first steps with YouTube, I'm not sure the plan I'm following is the right one. For this reason, I'll show all the background things I'm doing that have to do almost nothing with YouTube.

That will make this discussion more than just about YouTube, but mostly about how to grow a following using any other platform.

Is your all the targets get completed? If yes, can you tell us how to boost the subscribers?

 

Hi. I have seen your video. I like watch youtube video that will help me with my marketing.
I have seen landing page without email forms before. I am will to learn how to get more email
sign up to my landing pages too. I am tried to do it myself. I don't know how to create a link to my
landing pages. That's is the problem. I really need help with it. Can you help with it?
I really would appreciate it very much.
