New York dinner raises $18m for IOF

The “Friends” of the Israel Occupation Forces raised a record $18 million at its annual gala dinner held last week in New York City.

They “honored” the soldiers who committed war crimes in Lebanon and Gaza last summer, delivering the message to these terrorist that “The more you kill, the more you will get paid.” During the event the group also presented its “2006 achievements” which included raising $46m. for Israeli soldiers.

Imagine a dinner raising money for the army of Apartheid South Africa in NYC!

I am missing where the war crimes are? Civilians are killed in conflicts; that is not a war crime.

Thirdly, hamas staged many of those photos.

In the top 1, notice how the pacifier is in perfect condition as opposed to the dead child. obviously put there after the fact. they were also known to empty morgues and put people in photos to make things look worse than reality.

The -real- war crime was hamas firing rockets from houses and hospitals during the war. they put the civilians in harms way. why is none of your war crime talk pointed at them? Really.

I'd have to find the pair of shots again; but one showed a bunch of people working on a bombed out building; the next picture showed one of the workers laying and being hauled away as if he was a casualty. It was pretty funny actually.

The only reason Israel has anything going for it is because the US administration gives it billions of dollars every year so that it can be the bully that it is, 18 million dollars in perspective is nothing, it's like having a few pence in your pocket.

Without the US administration funding Israel it would be scratching around on it's arse, but due to it's strategic location in the area the US administration needs Israel for when they push their next insane attack on yet another country in the area, that country being Iran.
