All mine just popped right back to where it was before. That was weird.

indeed michail, all 42 of my sites seems stable on search operators. The listings are as crap as ever though. The sites appearing in the top serps for my industry are pure cow dung (if you allow me the expression old welsh :D ). Sure hope it's not over yet but i'm still stable for by main keywords on most of my sites. Lost 15 tops positions for 3 of my newer sites though

Can anyone confirm to me if there're seeing a shift in rankings in MSN? Many of my top positions on MSN have vanished while still present on Yahoo. This is by far the weirdest day i've had!

Can anyone confirm this to me please????

I was stable on MSN even while yahoo was going wacko just a few hours back. I dropped in MSN for ALL my important keywords just after yahoo went stable :s

Sure hope this is just a co-incidence and perhaps a cup of coffee falling on a keyboard at msn is the cause of all this.

It's looking good for me. Hate to hear about the result for some others.

After reviewing my web stats, Yahoo seems almost entirely irrelevant.

I can confirm that MSN changed last night. I haven't figured it out yet.... maybe giving more weight to the exact anchor text.... but dunno.

I had some go up and some go down.

Yeah, i think MSN dropping my serps is just normal and it will be back again tomorrow when i wake up :)

I sure hope Bill Gates himself will send me a personal excuse email for dropping my serps...hey, who knows :D

Yahoo listings seem crappier than before i agree. Sure hope it's not over yet or my 2 cents that we'll see a small "powered by google" on yahoo in a few months, bleh!

    I'm off!

The script I mentioned earlier tracks indexed pages for all three SEs. I have no change (other than a few normal up and downs) with goog and msn. Only yahoo was the killer to me and my major source of income.

Everything is back to the way it was yesterday before the "hickup".

PS. When you get that letter from Bill, please scan for me. I would like a copy. :)

My sites are back and things like number of results found, site pages, and BLs are all back to normal.

Now let's see if Y! provides an explanation.

Well I've got my positions back were they were... Is this really an update or just a glitch?

I had most of my sites in MSN drop this morning.

Was annoying considering everything else that is going on.. Top 5 site dropped about 15 places and then other sites dropped a bunch of places too.. But seems to happen once in a while in MSN and then go back in a day or two, so I am going to wait and see what happens.

Agreed. Waiting is the best. I have confirmed that ALL my sites are back. I have rescanned hourly for the last 4 hours. Mine are stable at this time.

    So, just wait.

Goog/MSN never changed for me on any of the sites.

My site actually did much better this morning, and now things have reverted back to where they were for me. I also have a url that I use for development purposes, this morning it showed 0 backlinks (like it should), rather than the 3 that it showed yesterday and shows now. I guess I'm the only person here hoping they make the changes they showed earlier today.

So, you would like the update to happen because your single test site is indexed?
Strange, most people could care less about the test sites, and want the live sites to have the indexing.
