Saw one visit from him last week on www.komar.org ... no idea why a "shop/merchent" bot would be interested in my site.

I actually get periodic Emails from people about if this is for sale - I direct 'em to eBay as they show up there occasionally. The funniest one was when someone called on the phone and got my wife. They were polite about it and explained how they had seen the Hulk page and wanted to buy him - my wife said that "he's not for sale since he's part of the family" ;-)

I've been getting a load of hits from this bot too, in fact I have a new site where the Yahoo crawls are *only* from this bot, not the normal Yahoo bot!

I had this bot going nuts on my site for about three days a month ago. Sucked up 3 gigs in bandwidth.

It is a shopping comparision bot for a forthcoming change to Yahoo Shopping. They are cruising around town looking for shopping cart/product sites so they can fluff out their listings. Currently I beleive they rely on pricegrabbers feeds but looks they plan on going solo a'la froogle with free listings.

Haven't got a click back yet but we'll see.
