New wordpress plugin for DealDotCom affiliate program

Just a heads up in case anyone else here is giving DealDotCom a shot. BlueFur have released a WordPress plugin that makes it a hell of a lot easier to display the daily deal.

This plugin will be useful for DDC members.

 

Still some bugs in version 0.5. I found it only works properly choosing the text version. You still see the product photo but there is text at the top. The link to the logo is incorrect. You can see the ad on my sidebar.

 

I had trouble with the logos as well, I figured out the gif files need to be in the same folder as the .php plugin file. I got it up and running here: http://www.swollenpickles.com/

That helped somewhat. Still it doesn't display correctly. There is extra space at the bottom. For now, I will use it in the text mode.

All it does is add their blog post feed to your sidebar or post/page. I suppose you might get a referral that way.

Not so nice, IMHO. The other plugin is better.

 

Does look like more messing about to me.
