Basically, my goal is to get quality traffic and make some adsense revenue and maybe a few affiliate sales. Any tips or comments are appreciated.
The content of your website is good. But I suggest that you need to change the theme. Try getting some theme which will reflect food. Also, work on the logo part. I also noticed that you have Google ads next to the image. This is not allowed under Google adsense TOS. Work on this part.
