Hey guys, This is a brand new, custom-coded site valuation tool. It uses PageRank as the basis of a valuation. It's mainly for fun, but I think the valuations aren't too far off. What do you think? http://www.PRCashRank.com
Pretty useless valuations. Site is design and usability is ok though. Maybe will have some people to use it?
Why are the valuations useless? I think the valuations it gives are similar to the sales amounts I see here. Thanks for the feedback, guys.
I typed "banana" in all the boxes and it accepted it as input. Value was 0 obviously. Nice idea but poorly executed.
OK, I can modify the scripts. LOL. I didn't think people would type fruit or domain names into the boxes.
Could it work off the url and query the pr results itself to calc the value. It is not practical for larger sites to manually add up the pages with different pr.
It's a nice idea, but spidering a site and getting the PR for *each page* would require a lot of server power I would guess. It would take a long time too... like a sitemap generator or broken link finder.
