I'd like to avoid the google sandbox if i can. I'm considering hiring the services of one of these fine DP link directory promoters, i.e. paying a small fee to have my site submitted to 100+ free link directories, but would this be seen as unnatural link building? Are there potential downsides to taking this route with a brand new site? I'm trying to decide between buying a few good quality higher PR links and buying the services of one of these link directory submitters, in your opinion, which seems to be more effective for a brand-new site? If you feel that a few PR sites it the route to go - how many? and for how long? Likewise, if you feel that the link directory route is the way to go, again how many? Has anyone had lots of good experience with someone on either side of this fence and feels comfortable recommending their services? Also, in your experience, are there better ways to get a new site off the ground and start generating organic SE click-throughs? Thanks alot - I really appreciate any insights you may have! VG
I would also like to know. What are the steps you guys take when starting a new site. 1. I start of by creating some great unique content. 2. Submit my site to some top directories and do some link building. (Usually spend about $250 on this) 3. Submit to about 200 free directories. 4. Write a great article. And submit to about 170 article sites. 5. Write and build some more content. Am I missing something? Should I be spending more and on what? Thanks.
