As part of research I am conducting I was wondering how you would try to establish your website during the first month. How would you attract the first visitors, build your first links,... I am curious about how other website owners approach this. And what after the first month? How would one engage it's visitors to come back, post, share,... To give an answer to my questions, personally, my approach is something like this. Set up all my social media accounts under hootsuite Slowly drip some content to twitter and facebook Automate some posts for when I'm sleeping or working Then the real work starts Search influencers/website owners in your niche and contact them Start a conversation and ask for sharing, guest blogging,... Keep in touch with them (and return them a favor!) Also try to determine what keywords are relevant to your website and how you will start ranking your website. And last but not least, write relevant qualitative content two times a week that the users would love to read. After a month I will try to think about advertising, building mailing lists, driving organic traffic,... This is, in a nutshell, what I do when releasing a new website
Just work on it everyday and be consistent. Do plenty of backlinking and social media. You can not be in a rush if your solely relying on SEO
Content is King, make it extremely relevant to your website. Then get some backlinks from dofollow forums and blogs, for your first link, check your website's price at: check-website-price.com They'll give you a free backlink as a reward!
In my original language(non English) content is not king.Spam sites can get huge traffic from google( above 50k visitors per day) and can earn about 1$ per 1k visitors.
