I just created a new website. It is not fully done yet, but in less then a week when it is, what is the best way to get it out there for people to know about it. It is an online bidding site where the lowest unique bid wins. I am new to the website scene, can you give me tips like should i submit it to a directory etc. what is the best idea. Thanks

Well what I would do is create articles on your subject area. Make sure they are in your own words and valuable to your readers. Then submit them to free article sharing sites such as Squidoo, HubPages and EzineArticles. Don't spam your link in the articles, mention it at the end, and only once. Make sure you articles are keyword rich. What I mean is the main keyword you are using for example 'Dogs' mention this keyword in your article about 8 times. Don't use it at every chance you can try twice in the first paragraph, and 1 for every 200 words after that. Your articles don't need to be long just make sure they are unique and give away free information. This also helps you brand yourself as the expert which is one of the best things you can do. Also you could create videos they seem to be the craze at the moment. Goodluck -- Hamish
