hey everyone So I have an idea and Id like to know if people would like to help out. (This may get a little long, but please read it all!) I would like, with guidance from the people on this forum, to build a new website from scratch, keeping a constant posting report on here, with votes and contributions from everyone with regards to content, design and SEO. I have designed a few sites, but they have all been failures in terms of visitors. Maybe like 50 a day is my top top site. I, like so many on this forum, look at you guys who get 1000s a day with envy and wonder how you do it. So am hoping you will share some of your knowledge with us on this project. So my plan, if people are willing to help out with their knowledge and advice, is to build a new site and only follow information supplied by this thread as to how to do it all, be that content or seo. Once the site starts making money I'll do one of the following with any money made: Divide the money amongst the people who really helped and myself. or Donate a large chunk of money to charity (will clearly show this has been done, maybe though a forum moderator) (Money made would be through ads/sales etc, we would all decide what ads to put up and where) This would be a great series to have and teach a lot of people (myself included) a lot of new things, maybe we can even turn it into an ebook. Id post all the time, including charts and stats etc, so people can clearly see what is happening. Id love it to become a huge post on this forum and help myself and well as others. Im prepared to buy the domain etc and do all the work, all im after is advice and comments along the way. Anyone who would like to help out more obviously can, but id like to see if, by pooling information, we could make a new site a success and make some money. What do people think? Good idea? Dumbest idea you have ever heard?
