Ok so i need help.... I started a new public service website, dtvswitch2009.com PHP: dtvswitch2009.com HTML: and could use your help. should I let traffic generate first before adding adsense, (which I am currently doing) but how much traffic? any tips would be great. I wanted to make a site that informed people about something that we don't know much about but think it would be cool to make money off it, but it's not necessary. any advice or tips would be great!
Hi ! That's nice. Before setting up Adsense it is wise to make some traffic. Having ads without no visitors and clicks makes zero sense. I suggest you submit your site to some free blog directories and get some traffic and then go with adsense. In fact when your site gets traffic, You have a lot of other ways to make money like sponsored reviews and blog sponsors which would return you much more money within a month than what you could earn from adsense in a year.

Simple and nice!! I like it, but maybe you can make the text in content is not Bold. Ok, continuing chandan123 post above, you can add ads to your website. The popular one is adsense. Register at www.google.com/adsense After register, wait for their approval, then try add a new channel and your ads setting (color). Chitika.com is an alternative of adsense. Next, maybe you to add a web statistic, You can use google analytics or statcounter.com. I don't use google analytics yet (never know how the statistic look like), I am satisfy with statcounter. Do it now, you will amaze by the the statistic and your ads clicks. All the best!!
I don't think you have to wait, just make sure to blend your ads well. A 468x60 text unit would look pretty cool at the top under the green line.
Dang!! I am not read your post carefully. I think your content is a niche, keep in your track. Keep "informed people about something that we don't know much" terms, and you will get money from ads and any monetize system you use. Me myself, make twice mistake in selecting products to offer. Still research my niche..
