Hello everybody! I am looking for a while to get a good / cheap marketing solution for my new website - free used cars classifieds The primarily idea is to get traffic, TARGETED TRAFFIC, because I want this website to be knowing well and people start sale their cars or to buy autos through my website. I can spend 20-30 bucks / month for an advertising campaign. I am using ad sense and I want do not lose it. On DP I see tons of marketing offers/ideas but I need some advices in order to chose one of them. Thanks!
i would try buying advertising space on local (toronto) sites...this would deliver a targeted audience to your site....however, not sure what you can really get out of $30 a month....
The only way to get the kind of traffic you want, so you can make the kind of money that makes it worth it, is to advertise it. There is no other way. Of course there are signatures, article marketing in article dumpers, blogging, and other ridiculous method mentioned here 10,000 times a day, but those are noob methods that bring in VERY few visitors. Figure out how to get more advertising money, and go from there.
put adverts in local newspapers or go around and do PR on forums, also think about getting cars to sell first before getting traffic
Don't forget about social bookmarking at the top site. For me stumble and twitter brings in traffic for free.
All of us you're right. Probably the most efficient method for me to increase the targeted audience on this website is to buy advertising space on local websites, but there is a big problem: money. Unfortunately I can't spent more then my revenues, and my revenues from some sort of advertising on my websites are no more than $20-30/m. Other ideas? @AnnAnderson1015 - is about car classifieds ads. I don't think twitter or other social bookmarking websites will bring more guests in the house
