New Website Marketing "Systems" - Do They Work?

I'm floored by how many new "marketing" systems come out every year. Moreover,
I'm just completely stunned by how many people buy into all the fancy named
    schemes.
While there are various ways to get website traffic, and new methods emerge
there on a regular basis, in response to search engine algorithms and affiliate
marketing programs, there is little new in any of the so-called marketing
    systems.

Most of the website marketing systems that are out there on the market for any
period of time, and any new ones that come out, are largely based on direct
marketing principles. Direct marketing principles are at least over 100 years
    old.

The real shame is that people who know better buy into the "new" systems,
believing the 5 they spent $5,000 on over the last 5 years don't work.

These people are what I call "terminal learners".

They are like many of my old (and perhaps today's) college professors - they
know a lot, but can't do much in the way of taking action, adjusting their
course, measuring and achieving real results. They know everything in their
head, but somehow they buy into a "new" system, thinking it was the other
    "systems" that failed them.

The "systems" didn't fail them. These people may have ADD (adult deficit
disorder) or something else going on and cannot stay focused and committed to
live, real hard work type of action.

Being successful in your online business is no easier and no different than in a
brick and mortar business. It takes hard work, long hours and a long term
vision and commitment and dogged determination to your website goals.

Don't bother buying the latest marketing "system". Stick with the one you
already have and if you want to be an entrepreneur and work for yourself, get to
work, build your website, market it, tweak it, get it selling your product or
service, then go build some more just like it.

    And never, ever give up!

    Go for it!
