New website marketing help !

Any ideas on how to get more traffic to a photo rating site ???


I have posted around different forums, done some link exchange's, got a mailing list ... kinda outa ideas.

Digg or Stumble ... or if you have some money try AdWords

Try buying bulletin ads from Myspace users with big friends lists.

its helped get some traffic to my site

 

Upload a few funny pictures and socially bookmark them.

 

I can't see how squidoo or digg will help for this site or adwords in particular ?

Anyway just go for myspace bulletins. Try to exchange banners with adult sites. Promote your site in adult forums.

 

If you allow picture submissions, you could run an online contest to see who can upload the highest rated picture. Say maximum pictures is 100 from users, then give 4 weeks to see which has the highest rating at the end.

This will probably get a lot of the users to post on forums and tell their friends to vote for their picture.
