Hi everyone, I'm in the middle of updating my site, needs a new fresh look. Can you guys give me your views and thoughts on the layout mainly and also the colours used. Test Template Thanks p.s. the links all work but they'll take you back to the old site layout so its only this one page just now.
Looks pretty good. There's just a few things I'd change. The picture at the top is a bit blurry. Not too bad really, especially considering what's happening in it. But the first picture you get that's not as blurry change it. Under Quick Links I was expecting those to be links. It's usually a good idea to link to a page when you mention it. Under Reviews at the end you mention to "Click here to visit the review pages." Except there's no link anywhere to be found. And I can't easily tell what link, if any, should be used to go there. So make sure those get changed when it's done. The layout is very nice, colors are good, and I can read everything without my glasses (which is good). One more thing. The guestbook line with the Disney link.... don't do that. I know a lot of people who would see that and never come back.
waffles review is good - he mention most important things. Logo is blurry and doesnt match color layout of page. Under 'quick links' you should have some links. Page is readable, but probably too boring for "pure fun and excitement" website.

The images i have just now i've had to resize but i'm planning on using different ones when the site revamp is completed Yeap, those will be links. Not fully finished the page yet, i'm planning on putting the most popular pages from each month. Same as above, i've not finished the review page but when i have i'll remember and link to it. Yeah, that Disney link is from the old design and will be removed in the new site. Thanks for the review though, i like the colors/layout too spent a while playing around with the CSS and wanted to get peoples thoughts before i done the rest of the site.
Yeah, the logo is a random image which will change on each page load. I've only put a few images there and will pick better ones when i've finished the full site revamp. I was worried the text size was too small so glad you guys can read it. the "pure fun and excitement" tag was something my mate said years ago and its kinda stuck. The site is about a bunch of lads who like to have plenty of fun and suppose the excitement went along with it too. Does anyone have any other idea's for a tag line.
