Hey guys, Just like to see what people think of a logo ive created for a website thats based on supplements, training and anything else regarding the gym. The logo is F2F (the 2 is in roman numeral style (II)) which stands for 'Fuel 2 Fire' If there is any suggestions as to making the logo look better, feel free to let me know
Thanks for the feedback, yea I kinda figured that, I will probably have 'Fuel 2 Fire' in text above or below the logo as well once I find a suitable font for it
It's a very neat logo! Just as another member said it is difficult to read F2F but I am a gym regular myself and that logo is very appealing. It nicely communicates power and strength with that column like shape. Super logo for a website. I am not sure whether it will work for print with all those effects. But it's high and mighty for web
Great feedback, thanks heaps tomcool32 That is exactly the kind of look I wanted to try and portray, power and strength! Yea if I do ever get to printing stages (I hope I do!) then I will have to simplify the logo for sure
looks more video game related to me and I also did not see it was f2f until I read your post. I do like the basic look of it.
Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback Yea like I said jasonk1234, Once ive figured out a font to match it ill have text underneath the logo so people will notice what the logo is referring too
I agree it looks like a video game logo. I also agree that it is very difficult to read and understand
Reminds me of: http://images5.fanpop.com/image/pho...Wolfenstein-wolfenstein-25491948-1024-768.jpg It's quite original though, My suggestions to improve it are quite extreme: 1. Remove all emboss effects, make it clean 2. Remove the web 2.0 reflection effect, this makes it look very old / not serious 3. use two different colors for the F's use dark red color for the II you could try to use black or white (depends on your background) Optional: 4. Adding a slogan below it could add a nice touch to it (exactly at the same width of the logo)
Thanks Alexandra8, with Photoshop Cheers Wasted, I havnt got around to it yet but I will be making a plain version/vector in illustrator when I stop being lazy lol, I like the idea of the colour difference with the F's annd II, might have to try that out I was planning on having fuel2fire.com underneath it (same width as the logo like you mentioned), still need to find a font I like
Don't go crazy on the slogan font, need to be a simple one if you ask me. I wouldn't write .com on slogan, no use for it nowdays and it makes things uglier, fuel2fire is enough
Hey guys, Finally got around to updating the logo in Illustrator, just a plain version with the text below, let me know what you guys think..
I don't know if you need to use the perspective on it. At least not that much. But the vertical strokes of the F should be the same thickness as the II. Then it will read better. And I am not crazy about the bottom fonts. Also the horizontal bars on the F should probably be thicker too. Not a bad star though.
