New website - i need help?

i put together a website with yahoo site builder. but i would like some advise on what to do next. www.yourminnesotadj.com

when the site is new... submit it first in directories then.. forum posting.. post in many forums.... having a signature...

 

You need to add more contents to your site. And start building some backlinks.

 

for a new website first of all submit your website in the major search engines. and do some link building work like book marks, directories, forums etc.....

 

What kind of site is this ? What are you trying to do ?

 

content is crucial if you want to improve your listings, i'd also recommend sorting out your head section in the source code, in your title tag make sure your keyword appears first, don't put in too many words, this applies to the description and keyword tag aswell. the more words in each tag, the less weight is given, personally i'd recommend in the title max 2 keywords, in description 12-20 words, and keyword tag again 2 words. If you want anymore advice, let me know

 

Put some information concerning to the things you are offering in the HOME using your main keyword a few times...define clearly your main keyword and put it in the metatags, make a better description in your metatags (150 characters at least using your keyword one time here)...is more SEO work to be done

Next, create a Google Webmaster Account for the site and start tracking the performance.

I see you have promoted the site a bit- MySpace and stuff.

You could buy some targetted traffic, or advertise in local communities.

MySpace is a decent option, but you could look at FaceBook, Yahoo Groups, Yahoo answers too.

Some Link Building will definitely not hurt. You could also look at Squidoo and blog commenting as a way to increase the exposure of your site.
