I have just setup a url shortening website. Let me know what you think of the website. It is kind of plain now, I will add more information to the website as time goes by.

I can't understand what is the utility....

 

It is to convert long url to a short url.

 

Looks like a old Microsoft's site. But not so bad.

Exactly what I was thinking. Not bad but a little to plain for my taste.

 

those sites are increasing rapidly

they are good for forum signatures when you need to add long urls while you have limited character count

I think you need to make the site look a little more unique. Maybe not have the site the whole width of the page, and round off some corners? Just some suggestions there.

Well, I came out with the name after one week of thinking.

you need a cathier and bolder approach to this kind of site, something that will make your visitors look at it and in 1 second know what this is about. This one would benefit from a web 2.0 design approach.

 

i think the look could maybe do with a spice up but that is a cool site and what your doing there

it will come in handy to use it when your away from home on the net and dont have your favourites handy so you can have an easy url to remember
