Hi all, I have a new website which basically offers a free ebook in exchange for a users name and email address, which is then added to my autoresponder. Im new to this type of website and just after some help in finding the best ways to obtain traffic and convert into members. Appreciate any help. Thanks Nick
Follow these steps and your site's traffic will skyrocket. 1) Submit articles to Digg.com & Ezine.com (new content only, no duplicates) 2) Post in forums and blogs with your sites' URLs in your signature 3) Update content on your sites as nesessary 4) Viral-market on social networks such as Myspace & Facebook 5) Spread word of mouth advertising to as many E-book communities as you can 6) Have all your friends, co-workers and colleagues help you repeat the previous steps
Can't disagree with Zaccaria.. You could also post ads on a site like Craigslist. It's free and has millions of visitors everyday.

Hey thanks, there is some really good advice there. Please forgive me here if i sound new, (i am). I looked at craiglist and it seems to be locality orientated. Im in the UK. Would I advertise my ebook on there and say it was in my home town etc. Hi Zaccaria, what do you mean when you say viral social networking. Also when am i allowed to have a signature in this forum. Would you suggest using many different forums. Also Zaccaria I have an article i submitted to ezine, can i submit the same article to digg or would that not be a good idea, basically do i have to write a new article for every submission. I see you only have 4 posts, OP. Get active and post more on the forums so you can get you signature up. Before I finished reading your post, I was ready to click on the link in your sig and check out the free ebook.
If you begin to follow the tips outlined in thid post you can be guaranteed to see an increased amount of traffic to your site. one tip - make sure you take action and follow the steps outlined. You'll be suprised at the level of success you see from simply taking action. Nathan
You can try adding a blog on your website and create posts that relates to your free ebook, or a balanced review about it. Then, create an attractive forum signature. The other tips aboce are also useful though.

Does submitting my link to directories and social book marketing sites really help with traffic. Is it worth paying someone to submit to like 100 directories and 100 social bookmarking sites?
