Hi. I'm new to this forum and new in the "Internet business" so please be gentle.
I started building my gambling games portal www.onlinegamblingdeals.co.uk 5-6 weeks ago, starting from scratch( worked in building industry before).I had basic computer and internet knowledge. Anyway, I did the site, bought the domain and uploaded it( it will get much faster indexed by google if you dont submit it, just install analytics :).
After 4 weeks it ranks 4-6 in Google for "online gambling deals" and 2-4 in Yahoo for "online gambling" , without building links yet and very little on page SEO .
Could you please give me any clues where can I advertise it? being a gambling related site Google wont allow it on AdWords.
Any kind of reviews about my site are more than welcome.

    Thank you
    Paul

Depending on your budget you can advertise in UK specific gambling review sites.

I'm trying to keep the costs as low as possible, I will have a look around to ask for prices. I bought traffic from usefulltraffic.com which is useless..lol

You should try and target keyphrases that people are actually searching for. Keyword Discovery shows that nobody searched for that phrase in the last 12 months. Gambling is going to be really tough niche for you to dent.

unfortunatelly I know that keyphrase is useless :(
I'm trying now to optimize for some keyphrases far less competitive but still searched(like 100-200 searches a month) but as the title sais I'm new to this so I have to learn as I work, so I'm prone to many mistakes(from mistakes we learn best :) )

Is there no way you can learn the ropes in a less competitive niche? Gambling really is a baptism by fire and I wouldn't want you to be wasting your time :)

lol...I guess I could, but I'm really proud of my site and I really want to make it work (nothing is impossible)
it's not my type give up so soon and so easy, and I have some great ideeas too for this site (to make it very diferent from the others of it's kind)....but the most important thing is to make it visible , I know.
