new web software being launched in 8 months, should i put landing pages online now?

    Hi,

    I'm launching a new online web service at a very high profile keyword specific domain name in 6-8 months. I currently just have a parked page up with keyword advertising that is paying me a few hundred per month. In preparation for this service being launched, should I build a simple page with keyword specific related articles so that my webpage begins getting ranked in the search engines? Or should I just wait until the services launch?

    I would love to have a lot of free traffic already established at time of launch...

    Any thoughts would be most appreciated.
