New Web Directory for Freelancers - Free Offer

    Hi All,

    FreelanceLocalTech.com is a web directory of freelance technical consultants organized so that clients can easily find and contact local consultants. It's USA-only right now, but we are planning to add Canada next couple of months and the UK shortly after that. Posting both consultant listings and client needs are free.

    If you are looking for new clients, signing up for a listing is worth the short time that it takes. As freelancers ourselves, we have already gotten calls from clients who did not post the job, but called us directly to discuss projects.

    A basic consultant listing is shown in every city within 30 miles of the consultant's location. Our general promotional offer is a 2-month 60-mile upgrade; the upgrade quadruples the territory in which a consultant is seen.

    For Digial Point members: between now and 11:59 pm EDT on August 31, any member who registers their USA-based freelance consulting business on FreelanceLocalTech will receive a 2-month 90-mile upgrade (9x the basic listing territory area) for free.

    How will I know it's you? After posting your profile, come back to this thread and post a response that gives the name of the company you used in your listing. That's all you need to do to get the upgrade.

    If you're not in the USA, sorry, but we can't handle you just now. Nothing personal, just some technical things to work out. Also, we have guidelines for posting consultant listings, so please be sure to post a good professional listing for your business.

    To recap:
    1. Go to FreelanceLocalTech.com
    2. Create a new consultant listing for your business.
    3. Come back to this thread and post the name of your business.
    And (on approval of the listing) you'll get a free 90-mile territory upgrade for 2 months instead of the 60-mile upgrade we're giving away to everyone else.

    Weird. We added 44 new consultants in the past week, but not one response to this listing... are there no freelancers out here who want help marketing their services by listing themselves in a free directory?
