new web developer in the making here

Hey, guys. I have been tinkering with websites for a while now but never been too serious until as of late. My dad taught me html at a very young age, around 12, and I have been semi interested in it ever since. I stopped about 5 years ago for some reason but just recently picked it back up. At first I was a little intimidated by css and the responsive web design theory, which was new to me. After about a week of tinkering with those topics and several visits to forums and www.w3schools.com I got a good feel for it. I am currently creating a survivalist website with a zombie apocalypse theme. I would post the website here but I dont want to get in trouble. If anyone is interested though they can send me an email and Ill let you know the site. (can i say that? i hope so lol) anyways i plan on setting up a forum on the site to talk about survival/zombie stuff. in the end i have hopes of using this to generate traffic before starting a survival store where i would sell low cost survival gear. low cost as in products that arent going to cost say over $100. but thats atleast a year down the road and thats if i can even get a big enough viewer base other than that a little bit about me. i have been serving active duty army for almost 10 years now and plan on retiring after another 10. i like long walks on the beach and romantic nights under moon light. lol thanks in advance for your welcomes to the site!
