New Ways to Create Revenue (Adsense not working)

My Superconcepts blog (http://superconcepts.poweressence.com) is getting no adclicks despite getting loads of traffic. I think it's due to the content attracting savvy non-adclickers.

The site is more of a labour of love and portfolio for my writing than anything else, so I would rather keep doing it, but I would like it to make some money. Does anyone have any good suggestions for generating revenue on a site like this?

The audience is quite a specific niche, and there tends to be a lot of repeat visitors.

How about you find an advertiser that pays per thousand impressions?

Maybe you should try chitika. The ads appear when a visitor is coming from a search engine, or look for sponsors/affiliate?

    You should try CPM ads.
By your site ads placement,i can tell you that the ads position is wrongly placed.
In order to increase the CTR,you need to do some modification on your theme.

Thanks Mentos. What would you suggest. I'm a bit limited by the theme itself. Would a banner in the top section be better?

Your current ad looks like... and ad :)

So, in order to make the ads look like an entire part of your site, you should place a big rectangle ad (336x280) into your posts; a themed ad in the top section (728x15); a large skyscraper and an Adsense search box in the right column.

Try to make the colors of the ads match your theme but also your text; which means the big rectangle should be entirely black on a white background; the other ads and the search box should be white on a green background.

Test them for a few days/weeks and see what happens. Modify or keep them depending on the results.

Well, just my two cents; hope this will help :)
    Dom.
