Remember last time we could place image beside the ads?

What about this idea? I saw this from a site. It is a combination of AuctionAds with Adsense.

That's an image near an adsense block. In TOS, it does not say that you can add an image if it is in another advertising block. It simply says not to have an image beside an adsense block. So, I think your example is against TOS.

I think it's again TOS. Adsense should look different from other ads on the same page.
Even if there isn't problem with the image (which I doubt), auction ads and adsense has exactly the same looking

    No, it is not allowed.

The essence is the "relationship between the images and the ads".
By placing such ads near the AdSense ads, you are creating an assocation between the two.

What I think the point the OP is trying to get across is that the image is part of the AuctionAd, not just an image by itself.

Clicking on the image would send you the the AuctionAd right? Seems like it defeats the purpose of having it next to Adsense anyways.

Hmm... I have used a combination of Text Ads in Square Format and just next to it Square Format Image Ads, since Months and months. Contacted google aswell and it was no problem. Maybe 2 adsense blocks combination of image ads and text ads next to each other is allowed and auction ads not allowed.
