If you check now you will see a button called "View All" on the find a seller page. This will list all the sellers who have signed up :)

Nice site. It would be better if you advertise your site on non-webmaster forums and get some posters in different themes. I would be interested if I can find my category.

PS: Signatures in related forums are good advertising, that's why I am interested. Link value means little to me.

It's quite convincing to other forum members when a regular poster use my site as signature.

yes, if it is related and the quality of the posts is good, then it is valid PR ( I mean Public Relations now )

I was now able to sign up and I think there are a few essential points that have to be addressed if this is to be successful:

1.) You can only list keywords for your account. NOT for each individual forum you post to. Many people post to a range of forums and if they list all their keywords, it is hard to find the related forum.

2.) You can only list a user name for your account, NOT each individual forum. Some people post under different names depending on the subject matter of the forum.

2.) Get rid of all the accounts that are just filled in with "test". I had to wade thorugh a bunch of these accounts...Maybe a human approval of the accounts to be sure people are serious.

3.) Rather than a sample post, ask people to link to their profile. Then the purchaser can browse from there

4.) Allow more than three forums to list. (Be sure to fix number 1 and 2 first). Some people post at 10 or more forums!

5.) Don't market it as a way to get PR, lots of links etc (because that is shaky SEO)...It should be about visitors and conversions if you want high quality members.

I echo that you need to advertise on some non webmaster forums. SEO and Webmaster forums are a dime a dozen but to have successful you need to have other forums...Health, Cars and Motorcycles, Video Games, Music, etc

    Hope that helps.

    Another Suggestion:

Have a field where the seller says how many links will be in their signature. It affects the value (again, from a traffic point of view) if there is one link or if the sig looks more like a site map.

Having a record of how many they would agree to display protects the seller to pull out if the conditions aren't met.

I've "spammed" a few forums myself to get the initial word out. I don't think it is so bad. I think it is a service we can use and is therefore a useful tool to us.

If I put up a link to my Phentermine site... Now THAT would be spam.
