Today I was moderating some comments on my site : Wedding Cakes and found an interesting comment in the moderation queue when I read the starting part of the comment I was about to select approve but then I found the later part of the comment very stupid and spammy yet funny how that guy is promoting PPP site Do you guy find any such interesting comments on ur sites ? if so which ones ?
Lol, yeah, it's so true. Spamming is getting higher and higher now. I ain't running any blog at the moment, so don't really get those spam comments.
With the advancement of technologies in all fields, spamming too is under metamorphosis. Wondering how clever spammers are these days?
I disabled comments in my blogs, it is now no longer worthwhile to have comments because of the number of abuse and auto spammers targetting blog comments section.
I had a popular small hobby site, where I receive 3 valid comments and more than 5000 spam comments before I call it a day. When I see auto commenting software on sale here, I was shaking my head. Maybe those people just submit hoping to get a link from a high page rank but the damage they cause are far more substantial.
There is a new way to spam forums. This guy goes around pretending he received a spam message on his blog and then quotes it in the forum
