    Hi all,

There is a new way of advertising due to be launched in February. First glance you may think nah won't work but these have joined up with google so i can pretty much be certain that it will take off. Betas are closing very soon.

There seems to be a lot of buzz about PPP right now. It's being promoted all over the place.

If I hadn't exhausted myself months ago from continuously jumping into "the next best thing", I might be inclined to try it.

Now, I just see it as something to distract me from my current business plan.

    But, thanks for the offer.

I wonder why they don't mention google on their page, would add a lot of credibility to the page.

I never liked websites that use background music, so I don't think I'll like this either. If I don't like it, my visitors probably will hate it. For my sites, I feel it is best not to use this intrusive advertising method.

Agreed, if anything i think it will encourage users to sites not to use them, therefore, increasing popularity of sites not using them :) so if anything its a smart move not to use them.

Wow the example netaudioads on the site are horrendous. The one lady with the black & white photo is trying to claim she's from Europe, yet she has an American accent. The black man with big muscles sounds real ghetto and keeps using the word "web", which most professional webmasters that actually rank in money don't use. We use real terms like the Internet, and occasionally the net. We won't say the web out-loud without saying the world wide web..

    Another site is profitaudio.com.

I too don't believe this will work. I hate when background music comes on a site.

How many people actually have their speakers turned on? How many who have them turned on aren't listening to music?

    The reach just isn't effective.

From an advertisers point of view how do you know if the visitor heard your ad or not? You can't be sure.

    Money down the tube.
