You should consider adding the talking people to your sales page. livefaceonweb does this for very cheap, less than $300 for a 15 seconds spot.

water4gas and runyourcarwithwater all have this. It makes the site more interactive. It's even better if you can hire 2 people talking to each other about your product on your website.

There are several of these products floating around. You need more than just a pretty page with a few graphics.
You need good sales copy and the page better be loaded with benefits.

There is only one I would promote and the ones that are promoting and have done the spit testing have nailed it down to 2 products.

Cool! Consider Live face on web! Maybe Suzanne Gundakunst and Andreas Kirchberger can sell this product and top Ozzie Freedom!! lol

Andreas Kirchberger, World famous Forex Trader from Deutschebank now endorses Water 4 Gas as long as his buddies are bidding up the price of Crude Oil!

Suzzane Gundakunst, not only tells you what not to eat, but also helps you save money with your new car purchase, and even helps you on how to reduce fuel prices!

Now we got some awesome Cross Promotion going on! Rofl

    My formula on selling products.

a product needs to solve a problem. Without an existing problem, there is therefore not a need to have your product exist in the first place. There is a huge problem with the Crude Oil prices heading near $150. You have a solution in hand, but you need to not only grab traffic, but create what I call f'ing bennies.

    Features and Benefits.
Sell the Benefits of your product and intertwine the features of your product. Also while stating the benefits, explain in full detail how you are going to solve the problem the site visitor/potential purchaser had in the first place.

    Testimonials.
Then promote a set of case studies or testimonials. You can farm out a few kits or ebooks to a few 'superaffiliates' and get them to assemble the systems, and report back to you, and kindly ask them for testimonials.

Writing Style that "glues" people to a purchase possibility...
Also in the text, I would suggest a writing style that would employ alot of hypothetical situations which build a frame in the site visitor's mind, that would create a mental state that we call "transfer of ownership." If you read anything about Bandier/Grinder NLP, you would agree on this.

    Offer a bonus...
Offer a bonus of PLR material relating to your product, rebranded with your name. funny as it seems, but having a niche specific bonus with your name on it, will do wonders. It will put into mind that the visitor will trust you, and think you are either an expert or authority in the niche! talk about increasing conversions!!!

    My two cents

you know what would be cool.. and haven't seen anyone do this..

have some sort of calculator.. that lets you know how much money you will be saving with this..

maybe the potential buyer can put in his zip code.. you get the gasoline price and multiply that by miles or km (what ever you prefer) and show them the numbers... with water and with out water...

    could help sell loads!!!

anyhow.. drop me a pm if need help with it.. i've been coding for a decade and this could be done.

Thanks for the advice. I've already contacted livefaceonweb.com to have someone create a 15 second spot for the site. Nina was her name...

That's what I was going to mention... anyone that has seen that won't buy it. I'm sure it's all over the YouTube by now.

Watch this, it's a video made by a viewer which explains why Mythbusters fail to run their car on water,
they did it wrong, that's why it didn't work according to the poster of the video

I like to watch those Mythbusters guys . If they did it wrong, there's a very high chance that the "average Joe" would fail as well. Just my 2 cents....

I have a hole network of Water Fuel Websites, it's realy impossible to beat water4gas and runyourcarwithwater.

You should first build a network of aff. then have bunch of websites, on defrent class C's with valuble info, all linking to your website.

Darm I did a test on promoting one of the run your car on water products and I got 2 sales and 1 refund.

The cost per clicks are high though as competition is fierce in this market ...but my adspend is equal to my commissions...that sucks aint...

Why do PPC on something with so much competition.
There are a lot of good affiliate products which have little to no adwords competition, and they sell well, just do a proper research, choose an appopriate keyword, and start a campaign

Ya know, I've been watching this thread grow and morph into something rather odd.

First we start with a knock-off product, ok good luck ... But as it turns out this is not the 2nd knock-off, or 3rd, but maybe 6th ??

And does it offer a new twist? Something better to offer the consumer? In fact, do any of these gas saving products offer something of real value?

But let's gloss over the fraudulent aspect of this niche for a moment.

This particular publisher (take no offence khong) started this thread by espousing misleading and admittedly false info to his prospective affiliates, and all I see here is helpful DP members willing to condone his actions and offer him tips on how to increase conversions.

Forget that the initial premise was false, what does this imply for customer satisfaction.

Am I completely out to lunch in having a beef with this?

If I behaved this way in my brick and mortar business I would not only lose my self respect and that of my colleagues / suppliers, I would also lose my clients.

We are selling to paying customers after all. And they do deserve respect.

I may not have found the greatest success in online marketing just yet, but my offline skills are stellar... my clients take advice from me on 5 and 6 figure purchases and trust me implicitly. I would not and cannot afford to offer junk. And if one of my suppliers pulled that schtick on me he'd be in really hot water.

I make a comfortable living off-line and love what I do. But I also really enjoy the online world; I have been "dialing up" since 1981 (yeah, 160baud).

And I sure would love to make a whack load of money online by porting my sales skills over, but not through scams. And the fact that so many of you seem to brush aside the points I mentioned above and seem solely desirous of going for the kill disappoints me.

Flame me, ignore me, or stay complacent, but ...

Is this the perspective I have to adopt in order to achieve success with internet marketing?

I was just thinking about this whole water 4 fuel clickbank madness. I'm sure most of you know that GM is now working on hydrogen cars, I really think once those start getting in the news more (closer to their time of being available) that these water 4 gas products may do even better in the future than they are now.
