    Hiya

This place seems cool, can i stay? So far its helped a little with a few thigns so the people here are generally smart :)

Anwyays,my question is this. One of my sites gets around 40,000 uniqe hits per month according to google analytics.

How much money should I be making from it and whats the best way to get money.
Right now I have adsense on there and it makes me about £120 a month or so.???

First of all, who are we to tell you if you can stay or not, as long as you abide by all rules, of course you can.

I think £120 is quite good for the amount of visitors you get, lets not forget, Internet users are getting more and more immune to using Adsense for some reason but that's a whole different story.

Just continue using AdSense and improving your website, you should start to see improvements but don't ad more advertisements because that will just mess it up.

Depends on your niche. If you're a weightloss or make money online blog with 40k/month hits I'd say you're leaving money on the table...

Welcome :). I'm a noobie myself and id say your doing pretty well from what I've seen. A few more monetisation methods like selling linls wouldnt go a miss. More than just fool out there :)

I'd recommend this article from Viperchill - http://www.viperchill.com/adsense-account-income/

Depending on the topic or niche of your site, you could implement additional ways of making money. For example, if it is possible to plug books as a part of your website content, you could become an Amazon affiliate. Each type of website has different monetization options available, and by looking at a few other sites of the same type as your's, you can get some ideas.

    What is your site about?

I think with 40,000 unique hits a month, you should be making more money. However, you need to look beyond Adsense to get that kind of return.

£120 is about $200 and its not bad if you HITS are about 40,000 per months.
