New URL shortening service

Hello everyone,

I need your suggestions for improving a URL shortening service recently started. Urlme.in

Do tell me about the domain and the overall layout of the site and things to improve on. I know the domain is a bit long, but wanted to choose something that made some sense without spending too much for buying premier domain names.

The design of the website is good. But your website is too simple. You need to put some content and talk about the benefits of URL shortening in depth. You can also now look for monetizing your website by way of Google ads.

Thanks everyone! I agree it is a "bit" too minimal. But, what I was thinking is - since people come to my site just to shorten their URL why should I make them wait by throwing in lots of graphics?

What do you think?

 

Very nice. One bug however:

http://www.foo.com/q=1
and
http://www.foo.com/q=1&a=2

return the same short url...

 

The logo looks good but overall it is very simple and plain.Need more description about the site.

Hi ohteddy, that flaw has been fixed a while back. I have added a login system as well, so that you can monitor and track your shortened URLs.
