Sorry its more...but most are from other Yahoo groups...Yahoo and Google showing different results http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BestTextForwards/
LOL what I am saying is - A link from DP and Yahoo group directory usualy are enuff to get you a PR of 2. (My yahoo group is having a PR of 5) and since your Group is a part of yahoo network, G delivers good PR business. Why Sorry??
I dont think so. How can 2 links from DP and 1 from Yahoo Groups directory give any page a PR of 2..If that was the case all these sites that I have in my signature would have PR of 4+...isnt it...after all they appear in my signature 100 times. (Sorry was for not having the exact count.)
yahoo groups are the part of the yahoo network which is having a good rep in google. besides pages of yahoo group directory are having a very good PR e.g. - http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Cultures___Community/Countries_and_Cultures/Asian this page is having pr of 5, so, do you still wonder how you got PR of 2 ??
My group is not in that category. Its here ... http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Regional/Countries/India?st=20 Thats only a PR 1 page. Actually I think the PR2 is cumulative effect of all those forwards that got sent to different groups..many of links are on PR1 pages
LOL am I seeing something different? try this link - http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Regional/Countries/India it has a PR of 5 noticed that ?st=20 part that is called dynamic url, leave that part and see the result. you are actualy getting a link from Pr5 page without ?st part and a link from pr0 page with ?st part. got it?
Oh! I didnt know that. So the entire list of groups is one single page for the SEs ? And if it is..why would the inner pages have a lesser PR?
I am affraid that I dint understand you completely... What do you mean by entire list of group? In this specific example the page where your group is listed has a pagerank of 5, if you leave dynamic part of the url. I dont know why yahoo uses "?st=XX" but the actuall url is without dynamic part. that dynamic part is just a post data but not a part of the actual URL, thats why the page with ?st=XX has a pr of 0.
