    It gives folks an option to still bid for good inner page placement within the categories even if they are not interested in competing for the extra home page promotion.

    I have already paid for removal

    That pretty much echos my thoughts. But then again I am a big fan of offering permanent links (as I do on my 3 current PR5 directories).

    I think I will open a thread in 'Directories' and get some more feedback.
