We have decided to start our own affiliate system. It was something we was going to put off but we've decided to do it now. The product is an ecommerce solution. The payment will be generous between £15 - £25 per registration initially. Thats it, no click-thru or anything. We're going to work on sites that really want to promote us in a positive way and bring us the customers we need to get this product really into the market place. The commission is pretty good and we want to pay for results. Any specific idea's for where we can promote our new affiliate system. What do affiliates want to see in the way of payment options? Where do affiliates look for merchants (apart from the large affiliate programmes)? Affiliates will be basically screened first. Any other ideas that you think we can benefit from? - We also have a thought about extending this still further by (totally separately) providing an ecommerce website at a much reduced fee as long as we have our advert on it - the websites we are providing are superb (very professional, not restricted templates etc) feature rich business solutions. When I look for merchants, I look around products that I understand or have bought because I like to know what I am promoting... For payment, I think paypal and alertpay are a must ^_^ I think the screening is good incase someone who you have banned tries to rejoin. I think having detailed stats on what is happening with there affiliate link. and giving people help on promoting is good for newcomers ^_^
