New UI for Joomla Site

Would you take a second and look at the new UI I'm having designed for an existing site?

It's local news site (my hobby) that uses joomla.

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

It looks good to me... definitely a big change from the old IU.

 

Design looks good, logo has a nice effect to it, overall site is a looking a little busy, maybe you could loose some content from the homepage and add some light images.

1st one was not even a design.
