What appears to be a new torrent site is showing up in my stats page as linking to my site. I haven't posted anything on this site and had never heard of the site before seeing it in my backlinks. There is a thread on their forums from a couple of other bloggers asking why the site is linking to their blogs so I know its not just my site. Why would this site link to random blogs? and is it a reason to be concerned?
I don't think you would have to be worried, unless of course the site was flagged as coming from a bad neighborhood. Very hard to say, but it is odd that they would link to you for no reason. What or how did they link from their site to yours? Was it a forum post, on the home page or something else?
I can't actually find the link anywhere on their site, however my awstats page has the site linking to my blog.
