New Tool From Google: Google Search Based Keyword Tool

Looks more or less the same like the keywords external tool to me except that this one will analyze a website.

One thing I noticed was that data doesn't agree between the two tools. For example take the term:

inkjet printer, this is the data from the Search Based Keyword Tool:

inkjet paper Searches per month: 4,400 Bid USD 1.63

Checking the External tool we get
Searches October: 165,000 searches /month average: 135,000

The SBKT looks way too low to me, given there are probably around 55 billion searches a month in total and why don't the figures match?

 

i am also confused between the two tools which one is more reliable to adsense publishers? KE or SBKT?

 

That is another nice tools from Google, it is a tool that can improve your campaign performance...

 

I am still a bit confused about the discrepancy between results from these 2 tools !

Would adwords kw tool be more reliable since Search Based Keyword Tool is still in Beta ?

the new tool maybe more accurate for the exact keyword

for example (not real figures)

the keyword
inkjet may get 200 million searches per month but Google isn't saying that the exact word 'inkjet' is getting 200 million per month...it is saying that inkjet is getting 200 million because the word 'inkjet' is in other keywords like


inkjet printer
inkjet paper

If it contains the word 'inkjet' then Google counts it as a hit for the keyword 'inkjet'

Another example
SEO
searched 1million times per month BECAUSE the keyword SEO is in these keywords.

SEO design
SEO google
SEO tools
SEO help
SEO yahoo
