new to wordpress and blogs

I am new to blogging, so was looking for some ideas on what plugins are best to use. My blog will be me reviewing books I get from Audible. I want to use some adsense or some such advertising, and probably some Amazon products. i am doing this more for fun then to make profit, if I make enough to pay for hosting and the domain, that would be good enough for me.

wordpress + all in one seo + analytics + adsense is a good place to start.

 

You can find som nice free templates at www.webbmax.se The site is in Swedish but the templates are for all the world! The ones under "Gratis Wordpress" is totally free. Just download and use without any restrictions.

Well, you can use MightyAdsense plugin.

Along with that you can use a contact form plugin and Statpress Reloaded to keep a track of visitors on your site.

And MBP Favicon in order to add a favicon.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I got a few to start with, and I will expand as I need to. There is just so many plugins in stuff, it is hard for a new blogger to really know what is best to use. I guess some of it will be trial and error.
