Hi I'm new to this stuff and I waswondering if anyone can help me or show me how to get start on this Affiliates program. I have been reading alot on these forum. Do I need first to build a web page and do I sign up from different web page witrh the Affiliates program and do I Just post their stuff on my web page?? Any info will help out alot...

Here's a guy who actually makes money with affiliate marketing: http://www.profitrage.com/ I've checked out his videos....they are pretty good and to the point. He'll also help you one on one if you sign-up under his affiliate link with an advertising agency. Good deal - good method if you have a starting budget of at least $100-$200

You need to select what market you want to be in.. This will impact what types of sites you want / need and what type of programs you will join.

Everyone will tell you to write about something you enjoy. However, that is only part of the problem. If you are building a website with the desire to eventually earn money then you need to figure out what topic you not only enjoy, but will also have good ways of being monetized. Many people build websites or blogs about their passions and find out they do not monetize well at all.
The first, and most important step would actually be the keyword research. You can use wordtracker.com for that but there are dozens of other tools. Anyway, before you even build your site you should try to find the keywords you want to target. Ones that have a lot of people searching for them but little competition. Of course, it depends on whether you plan to get traffic via ppc or organic search. But if you choose the right keywords, then it will be easier to get traffic, and thus, sales.
