Hi, I have never used PPC therefore I don't really know that much about it, I always get my ranking by SEO, and good quality contents.

However I would like to know if there is someway to check if another site uses PPC?

Also if they do ain't they always going to be able to top you in the serps?

    Thanks

    Dee

Yes there is . You have to sign up for google though. Then you use a SEO tool to spy on competition campaigns. You will need SeoElite for this though.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I will pass the information on to the potential client. They said they want to know what others are doing before they decide whether it is worth setting up their own website. They stated their business was doing well already without the use of the internet. So if they do decide to check it out and find that others are going down this route then they will probably decide again it, but at least now I can tell them there is a way for them to check. Although if it means having to spend money to do so I don't think they'll even bother ;)

    Thanks

Yes, Google will give the sponsored listings on the top depending on the Google ads rank, some ads at sidebar.

To find for ur competitors are using PPC or not, u can find their ads in Google and its network sites.
U can easily recognize it in SERP.

Google will display the ads with the Heading of: Sponsored Links

Hi, ye I do know what the top links look like and the sponsored links, however in the Serps if it just looks like a regular listing, are you saying this means they are not using PPC?
