Hi everyone. I am a currency analyst and I would like to get a adsence page up and running. I know very little on this subject, but I learn quite quick. Now, I am going to explain to you what I know, or what I "think" I know about this and how it works, and maybe some of you can correct me and point me in the right direction. I buy a Domain name (godaddy or something) that is related to the type of page (Cell phones or Travel and so on) and get it. I then could buy a laod of pages from Ebay like the one from the link I have provided. http://cgi.ebay.com/Cell-Phone-AdSense-Website-Business-w-CONTROL-PANEL_W0QQitemZ7617211085QQcategoryZ46689QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem or http://cgi.ebay.com/16-000-ADSENSE-READY-WEBSITE-PAGES-155-Themes-BARGAIN_W0QQitemZ7616904274QQcategoryZ46689QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I upload this to the domain name I have bought, and it is online and ready. Is that it works? Just works, not make good money, I can learn that later. I would just like to get one up and running, don't really care if it makes like 1 cent per day Any information you can provide would be great, thank you! -Kastro
little more technical then that, don't buy those crappy adsense sites, they don't work, if ur starting maybe make a blog on blogspot.com
Finding a name: Would something like topadsense.com, or something like that be ok? Or does it have to be related to what the site is? Like cell phones or something? IF I have like 100's of pages, how do I put them on one domain name? -Kastro
Ask yourself -- if those ready-made Adsense sites work, why would the guy be selling it in bulk? Why don't he just put them up and make millions off them? Answer: They don't work. Simple as that, so don't waste your time and money. Anyways, you've skipped so many steps that I don't know where to begin. My suggestion would be to learn proper webmastering skills first, and then start with Adsense. All the Adsense info won't help you if you can't create a good website to bring in people to click on those Adsense ads. As the saying goes, you've put the cart before the horse.
I thought so, thank you for clearing that up for me. So, maybe I could make a page on Investing, get some good traffic, then start with the AS? -Kastro
it's more complicated then that. your getting too far ahead of yourself. buy a few books on it or somethin, there is a lot of info u needa know to develop a good site.
I'm just taking a stab at it but I'm assuming he looks at the worth of money in various countries and advises clients on where to sink their investments or some such. Just guessing, of course. But yeah, he could definitely do something like "the worldwide currency blog" or something and monitor the shifting of currencies around the world and analyzing it. I bet that would be of interest to some financial geeks out there. Plus his ads would be high-paying ones...
You can definitely start with a blog. (See above post.) Blogs are easy to create, easy to maintain, and dirt cheap to start, and doesn't require a whole lot of webmastering expertise. The problem is finding an untapped niche from which to focus your blog on.
I have this blog regarding Forex, a pretty hot topic these days. How do I get more adds, I just have that one. http://eliteforex.blogspot.com/ Also, how do I register with google for adsense with this page? I am just waiting for them to verify and give me the code. What do I do after that? Thank you, have a good day! -Kastro
Once they give you the code, you can use it on your blog, you will understand once you login in your adsense account, you select a size for your ads, choose your colors to blend it in the graphic design of your blog and copy and paste the HTML code in your blog's template. To make your blog known you have to find other blogs from analysts or financial websites and ask them to do a link exchange: you put a link to them in your blog and they put a link to your blog on their site.
Great, thanks for the reply! So, just to be clear. If I have like 5 google ads or so on my blog, and someone simply clicks one of them, i get a couple cents in my google adsense account? Again, thanks. -Kastro
The first thing you need to do after you get your adsense code (and before you use it) is read the Adsense TOS if you haven't done so already. Print it out, read it, put it under your pillow, commit it to memory. If you don't understand (and follow) what it says, all your efforts will be for naught because you can lose your account.
Yes, that's the idea. Place your ads correctly on your bog, blend them well and then get a lot of readers for your blog, it will automatically convert into dollars. You can have a maximum of 3 ads blocks and 1 links unit on one page. That's more than enough.
@kastro_316, Do what Ratdog says. As soon as they accept you, BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE take time out to read the Adsense TOS. Learn what you can and can't do. Violate just one part of it and they will ban you for life. Trust me when i say that the chances of you getting re-instated once you've ben banished from Adsense for a TOS violation is zero to nil.
I will do that as soon as I get the code! Do they send the form stating the rules? Since you guys know quite a bit about this and blogs, maybe you can advise me a little. How should I make my blog more appealing to people? Any tips on getting some traffic? http://eliteforex.blogspot.com/ Thank you everyone for the help, I am sure you get noobs like me twice a day! -Kastro
Not that I know of, I put that on like 2 minutes after I made the blog. I did not get an email or anything. hmmm
