New to the game, willing to learn.

First off; Hello!

This is my first post here and I have recently discovered this forum.
Lately I've been searching around on the internet for methods to make an okay'ish income without having to leave my chair. I have sleep regulated problems which basicly means that when i go to sleep, I will be unwakeable for about 12 hours. This makes me unable to work, since I'm not gonna spend 3\4 of my awake time in a shit store or whatever.

I assume you don't want to hear my lifestory so here goes. After browsing these forums for a few hours quite alot of questions arose(is this a word?).
If anyone would be so kind to explain to me the basics of these different terms I would deeply appreciate it!
