New to the forums, wanted to say hello. :)

    Hello, fellow Digital Point members!

    So, I've been meaning to join for awhile - many of my clients have suggested these forums as a great way to connect with fellow writers. Anyway, a little bit about me (I guess that's what this forum is for, right? :p )

    I'm a professional freelance writer, which has been my primary source of income for the past several years. I'm not sure how many articles I have ghostwritten and sold to clients - probably in the thousands. I went to college at Johns Hopkins to study Creative Writing (Yes, I know, I went to a medical school to study writing :p). I have a part-time/temp job working for Ubisoft Entertainment. Aside from my professional work, I've written three novels (two during National Novel Writing Month), which will someday be edited and submitted to publishers. Hopefully. :)

    Anyway, it's great to meet you all!

    Hello Carolyn and welcome like peter said. I think you will find your favorite spot on the forum in good time. I would watch out what writers you connect with though. Your career so far is really great! Look forward to hearing more.

    Thanks for the welcome! It's nice to meet you both. I've been poking around the writing forums trying to get a feel for the community here. Do you have any sage words of advice for a DP newbie? :p
