New to the forum! Marketing Specialist + my girlfriend is a web designer from Russia!

    Hi,
    We are new to this forum. I am in sales/marketing and my girlfriend from Russia is a talented web designer =) We live together and we think we make a good team: I can come up with good content and she can come up with nice design!
    Although I have been in sales for a long time, we have no INTERNET marketing experience. To make a long story short, we want to create web sites that make money. Any tips or suggestions on how to start doing this would be greatly appreciated! :D

    Figure out what type of website you wan to build: eg-> ecommerce, blogs, content sites, forums, affiliate etc etc...

    Visit every possible site you can on whatever you topic you settle on and try to digest everything you can, build a few test sites to get your feet wet and go from there, there is NO easy way to start making good money without paying dues first so to speak. So get cracking...
