New to SEO

    Hello all,

    I started to learn about SEO, maybe you guys can direct me to some good places.

    Please check my site http://www.mysuse.org and tell me what should I add, remove or modify to optimize it for search engines.

    I would add some keyword rich text to your homepage. Maybe in the banner area at the top and/or some text above the articles. Most of the content on your homepage is article headlines which may or may not focus on the keywords you want. Which will make your ranking unpredictable.

    Thank you all for your suggestions.
    - I solved the problem with the CS.gif image
    - I'll put alt-tag for my logo (anyway I'll change the logo these days)
    - I will try to add more content on the main page

    Is it a problem for using too many times "SUSE" keyword? From what I read, I understoood that I have to chose 1 or 2 main keywords for my site and I choosed "SUSE" and "SUSE Linux".

    I'm still thinking what to put on the right side of the top bar (near the logo).

    Put some keyword rich text in there. Do that on every page of the site. It's a great place to put text. automotive.com does a great job of using this technique.
