How about providing a report for survivalsolutions.com, the same site I did the report for? With comments like: "I could do a better report in my Pjs before 9am" I'm curious to know what you can produce? How's this: You do the report and I'll donate the $200 to the charity of your choice. This is a great opotunity to show what your made off!
Sorry M8 - I AM my charity of choice. You want to send ME $200 we will do a report on ANY site you wish. We have some time available and could start the work for you by Wednesday and likely have it ready for next Monday. Let me know if you are interested in our services ( ha ha ha ha)...
Well here is where you are wrong and took a turn at the wrong person Everyone in SEO (but you) knows keyword tracker uses best guestimation software. Estimates stink. I use keyword discovery enterprise edition which costs more per month than I care to pay but that is what is needed. Next in your report you forgot to mention not to use keyword stuffing in the <title> and meta tags <title>Survival Supplies, 72 Hour Emergency Kits, First Aid Kits, Earthquake Supplies At Survival Solutions </title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <meta name="keywords" content="survival supplies, 72 hour emergency kits, emergency supplies, first aid kits, 72 hour kits, water storage, food storage, first aid supplies, emergency preparedness, earthquake supplies"> <meta name="description" content="Survival Supplies, 72 Hour Emergency Kits, First Aid Kits, Earthquake Supplies At Survival Solutions. Emergency kits and supplies for home, office, school, car, anywhere. Group discounts. "> Title - spammed - keyword stuffed Description - spammed - keyword stuffed Meta Keywords - spammed - keyword stuffed (Only matters to Yahoo) Jealous??? Nah Google custom top 8 - 91,000,000 competing I am #2 I won't get into the other 1000s that I rank for (had to delete your smileys they got in my way )
Your points were okay since the report should mention keyword spamming. This phrase though. 91,000,000 doesn't mean it is all that competitive - I rank for phrases that only have only '800,000 competing' yet they are more competitive than phrases that supposedly have 50,000,000. Not saying this phrase isn't all fired competitive just number of results doesn't = competition.
he he - it don't mean traffic either V - I have seen terms in excess of 800,000,000 in total occurances (default search) that don't bring a lot of traffic/sales.... Look at the one in my sig - Internet Business Development I am at #2 out of 400,000,00+ I can tell ya there ain't boat loads of folks searching that one... This is why the intial KW/Phrase research and targeting phases are so important... I must admit I used to throw around ranks in my earlier daze... with my chest puffed out.... these days it's all about conversions baby ... show me da $$$$$
Title looks just fine to me. You suggest a better one. Meta Keywords look just fine. The tag is supposed to be a list of keywords seperated by a comma. Meta Description I do think needs a little tweaking. However the site is ranked in the tope 5 on Google Yahoo and MSN for survival supplies.
Just because a site ranks well does not mean a few tweaks wouldn't help. Are these major tweaks? No but the title tag is a little spammed. Improving it will help it have more value and be more targeted. Keywords tag is not used so useless.
Looking at the title tag I can see it is targeting one too many keyword phrases so yeah it should be tweaked a little. The descrption just needs to be written with better grammar to make it look like a description and not a list of keywords. Thanks for the insite visio.
Very nice ranking.... Funny how thegypsy says put up or shut up..... then when someone does he tries to kick the wind out of the sail....... Oddly enough, I did not expect much different of a reply. Visio we both know the same things. Nothing more need be said. WebGazzelle <title>Survival Supplies 72 Hour Emergency Kits First Aid Kits At Survival Solutions </title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <meta name="keywords" content="survival supplies, 72 hour emergency kits, first aid kits, supply, water food storage, emergency preparedness, earthquake survival"> <meta name="description" content="Retails Survival Supplies 72 Hour Emergency First Aid Kits Earthquake Survival Solutions Prepare Your Family Order Today For Peace of Mind"> Packs a bit more weighting and density while also using the Meta Description as a strong call to action playing on the emotional selling point. Not many others will understand the last part though Peace
Thanks for the suggestions, please take a look at the changes I made yesterday and give me a little feedback.
Glad dropped back in. U just fishing jealous or something? First folks said I was insulting, and I never did, I stated some concerns and realities Second, I didn't take any wind out, I said it was legitimate information (props) and it was a limited report.. (a reality) U have a strange sense of perception Bro... must be a rough life...
